After-School Cooking Club (Grades K-2nd)
10 Weeks of Cooking, Creativity & Community
Give your child an after-school experience they'll look forward to every week! Our hands-on 10-Week After-School Cooking Club is so much more than learning how to cook. Each weekly class is a full two-hour experience, giving kids plenty of time to cook, create, learn, connect, and have fun without feeling rushed.
It's a place where kids can gain confidence, make new friends, explore cultures through food, and discover that healthy eating can be fun and delicious.
Each week, kids will prepare exciting recipes while learning important cooking techniques, kitchen safety, nutrition, and teamwork using the Food Is Elementary® Curriculum. Through hands-on lessons, children will discover where food comes from, why nutrition matters, and how the choices we make help our bodies grow strong.
But we're not stopping in the kitchen!
Throughout the 10 weeks, students will also enjoy creative art activities and mindfulness exercises designed to nurture the body, mind, and soul. They'll even have the opportunity to make a difference by partnering with two local nonprofit organizations on meaningful community service projects, learning that food has the power to bring people together and serve others.
Every two-hour class is designed to be engaging, creative, and full of laughter while helping children develop confidence and life skills they'll use for years to come.
